Sophie Nichols operates Littlewood Berry Farm located on the Richmond Road, Richmond. The farm is part of the Anglewood property of the Nichols family. The description in tourist literature runs, ‘Littlewood Berry Farm is a family experience offering strawberry picking and other produce such as jams, honey and sauces’. During the 2016-2017 seasons, 1.5 tonnes of strawberries were picked in November 2016 and 1.3 tons in December. The farm’s Facebook site attracted 3.6 thousand likes and resulted in strong sales and local visits.Sophie was a runner-up in the 2012 Southern Cross Young Achiever Awards.
